For two decades Leslie Milligan's hard work, devotion and smarts served as a cornerstone of the Lucerne Valley Unified School District. The executive assistant for several superintendents, she provided expertise and a historical knowledge, which proved indispensable to administrators and school board members. Recently, Leslie retired and was given a "sweet" sendoff by her co-workers.
