Do you often hear that Lucerne Valley doesn’t have a museum? Have you met new families that never knew there was an outdoor museum so they could learn more about our valley?
Our museum board believes that families need to know where their history comes from, how the agriculture and industries grew, and the interesting stories and legends that create our heritage.
If you feel this way too, come to one of our general meetings every third Wednesday from 10 am to noon in October and November. Our members won’t be meeting during December or June through August. You’ll meet our board, discuss ideas for engaging more visitors, and find out what our goals are. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call 760-248-6777.
While we make long-term plans to build an on-sight place for our Lucerne Valley collections, we also have short-term plans to bring more visitors with children, and to network with more museums across the High Desert.
